Whether you’re a beginner in paper crafting or looking to expand your paper art design skills, this 2-hour guided paper art workshop offer a creative outlet, enhance your crafting skills, and provide stunning decor for events and home.
In this workshop, your experienced art instructor Silvia will guide you step by step to craft a few different giant paper flowers in various designs and colors. Customize your flowers, enjoy a sense of accomplishment, and experience the therapeutic benefits of crafting. You’ll learn techniques to build layers of intricate details, explore the possibilities of paper design, and discover Silvia’s top tips for working with paper.
Hosted in the welcoming space of The Greenwood Hub, located in downtown Calgary, the workshop offers a unique experience for artistic exploration. All materials are provided; water and a choice of Coke or juice are available for participants.
Who is this for: This workshop is tailored for teens (8+) and adults, providing a unique artistic experience where participants are encouraged to unleash their imagination and creativity through paper crafting.

About the artist: Silvia Pinto, an accomplished instructor and accredited visual artist based in Calgary, has a deep-rooted passion for creativity and a commitment to empowering others. Silvia’s journey in the arts has led her to become a dedicated teacher. Her love for crafting sparked her passion for teaching, inspiring her to master various craft media including paper quilling, cardmaking, art journaling, mixed media, and more. With over a decade of experience as a program facilitator, Silvia has honed her skills in guiding individuals of all ages to embrace their creativity and unlock their artistic potential.
