Join Stuti online for an engaging art session where you’ll learn how to skillfully construct and combine shapes, transforming them into a beautiful piece of art.

Sketching is fun. In this online class, you will learn the fundamentals of drawing, practice and get comfortable with using soft drawing materials such as charcoal, as well as understand the concept of light and shadows to construct and combine shapes to create an artwork.

Your instructor, Stuti, will start the class with a quick introduction to materials, and then guide you through the drawing process from measuring and drawing the information, preserving shadows and utilizing midtones and highlights to create depth in the artwork, to shading techniques with charcoal and china marker (hatching, stippling, smudging).

Who is it for: The class is designed for beginners and suitable for all ages, kids and adults. No previous drawing skills needed. Participate with your family or your friend group. Drawing in community is stimulating, comforting and fun!

This session is donation supported. Please choose a donation option. Pay what you can as we want this session to be accessible and beneficial to anyone who’d like to take it. We appreciate those who can afford to pay more to help those who can afford less.
