Wooden slice painting offers a delightful way to create festive decor! In this 2-hour guided workshop, you’ll dive into acrylic painting on wooden slices, crafting your very own ornament.
Your instructor, Fatima, will provide step-by-step guidance to help you transform a simple wooden slice into a beautiful work of art. Choose between a featured design provided by the artist or personalize your own creation. This workshop is a perfect opportunity to unleash your creativity and make a unique ornament—whether for yourself or as a heartfelt gift!
Who is this for: This workshop is suitable for all, including kids and adults, and no prior artistic skills are required. It’s a perfect activity for families, friends, team building, or anyone looking to celebrate the festive season in a creative and unique way!
Hosted in the ambient space of Stable Tenth Avenue Cafe inside the Marriott Residence Inn, located in downtown Calgary, the workshop offers a unique experience for artistic exploration. All supplies will be provided, along with a delicious hot chocolate for each participant upon arrival.
About the artist: Fatima Majoka is a self-taught painter, an ESL teacher by the day, a small business owner by the night and an artist at all times. She loves colors and paint in anything and everything, from earrings to furniture. She loves the versatility of acrylic paints and enjoy making statement pieces, be it on canvas or in the garden.
