ONLINE: Zentangle Inspired Art
Learn to draw beautiful tangles and get creative in a series of guided drawing in this mindful online art class!
The Zentangle Method is a simple, calming, and enjoyable approach to use ordered patterns to draw beautiful pictures. It helps create a feeling of relaxed focus. By maintaining your hand in a comfortable position, you can produce Zentangle art the most effortlessly. The session includes basic meditation and tangling which is really a stress buster.
Class will be hosted on Google Meet. Step by step instructions will be provided throughout the drawing process to help you complete your project. NOTE: You will need a Google account to log on and join the class.
Participants are encouraged to turn on their webcam/video to take part in this class. This is to allow the artist/instructor to check on the progress of participants and offer personalized guidance & support where needed. Book either one class or a monthly series; each class will be a surprise!
Who is it for: The class is designed for beginners and suitable for all ages, kids and adults. No previous drawing skills needed. Participate with your family or your friend group. Drawing in community is stimulating, comforting and fun!
Supplies you’ll need:
- Zentangle White Classic Tile or 3.5 Inch hard paper
- Black Micron 05
- Colour Pencils
- Eraser and Scale
About the artist: Anne Mary, the owner and a Certified Zentangle Teacher at Anne Art Academy, an ISO and MSME Certificate Academy based in India. Since 2011, Anne has worked as an assistant professor in the civil engineering department, has written a book about surveying and received the “Best Women Award – Young Author”. For Anne, art drawings have been her childhood passion. Through her personal fascination in various art drawings, she became a Doodle and Zentangle artist and teacher offering online courses across countries as well as offline courses in her academy in India.
