Layered Floral Cards & Beadable Pens
Join us for a creative afternoon at The Greenwood Hub Art Studio, where you’ll learn how to craft stunning layered floral cards and make custom beadable pens!
In this workshop, we’ll be using Altenew’s Craft-a-Flower layering dies, renowned for their exceptional quality and precision. These dies make it easy to create beautifully detailed, realistic flowers by layering different shades of cardstock. The designs are versatile, giving you endless possibilities to experiment with color and texture for each card. Altenew’s dies are made with high-grade materials, ensuring clean cuts and long-lasting durability, making them a favorite among crafters.
After creating your floral cards, we’ll move on to crafting beadable pens. You’ll get to work with premium-quality beads that not only enhance the pen’s appearance but also provide a smooth, durable finish. These high-quality beads have a lustrous shine and are available in various textures and designs, ensuring each pen is unique and elegant. Perfect for gifting or keeping for yourself!
Hosted in the welcoming space of The Greenwood Hub, located in downtown Calgary, the workshop offers a unique experience for artistic exploration. All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with a set of gorgeous floral cards and a beadable pen that showcases your unique style!
Who is this for: This workshop is tailored for teens (8+) and adults. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or just starting, this workshop gives you the opportunity to create two beautifully coordinated projects that are as practical as they are artistic.
About the artist: Silvia Pinto, an accomplished instructor and accredited visual artist based in Calgary, has a deep-rooted passion for creativity and a commitment to empowering others. Silvia’s journey in the arts has led her to become a dedicated teacher. Her love for crafting sparked her passion for teaching, inspiring her to master various craft media including paper quilling, cardmaking, art journaling, mixed media, and more. With over a decade of experience as a program facilitator, Silvia has honed her skills in guiding individuals of all ages to embrace their creativity and unlock their artistic potential.
