FREE Online: Watercolor Fundamentals

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the fundamentals of watercolor painting from the comfort of your home, wherever you are. Our experienced art instructor will provide step-by-step guidance as you work through a full project (see the reference image below) from start to finish. You’ll complete a relaxing painting session while learning essential color blending techniques.
Who is it for: This workshop is beginner-friendly and open for all ages. No previous drawing or painting skills needed. Grab your family or friends! Painting in community is stimulating, comforting, and fun.
When and Where: The workshop is held online the first Sunday of every month at 9:00 AM MST (which is 8:00 AM PST, 10:00 AM CST, 11:00 AM EST, 12:00 PM AST, and 12:30 PM NST).
Materials Needed:
- Pencil, Eraser, Sharpener
- Paper (Thick paper or canvas is best)
- Watercolor paints
- Brushes
- Rough cloth or paper towel (for cleaning brushes)
Feel free to join the class with whatever materials you have handy and you can still learn a few valuable techniques!
Meet Your Instructor: Palak
Palak is a passionate self-taught artist specializing in acrylics and watercolors. She finds joy in helping both kids and adults discover the therapeutic and joyful side of painting, making every session a supportive space for imagination, learning, and self-expression.
