Mandala Mirrors and Mindfulness

Join us for a calm, creative afternoon that weaves gentle mindfulness together with hands-on mandala art.
Level: all levels
Ages: 18 and up
This is a slower kind of afternoon. We begin with breath and presence, write a private letter to the person you’re becoming, and then settle into the quiet, meditative work of building a mandala dot by dot. It’s part mindfulness, part art-making, and entirely yours.
You will work on your own mandala base, choosing colours from a curated set and building your design dot by dot. It’s meditative, it’s satisfying, and by the end you’ll have a beautiful, unique piece of art to take home — alongside a letter that will find its way back to you when you least expect it.

About The Artist
Palak Dhorajiya is a self-taught artist who reignited her passion for creativity during the pandemic. Originally from India, she balanced art with her studies. After moving to Calgary for a career in Interior Design, she temporarily set aside her artistic pursuits. However, discovering alcohol inks during the pandemic reignited her love for creating. Inspired by her mother and art tutor, she began crafting original pieces and teaching others. Palak offers custom artwork and art classes, providing a creative space to transform ideas into beautiful art.
Palak’s workshop is offered on multiple dates. To find alternative dates, browse [here].
