ONLINE: Create Embroidery Artwork for Beginners
Discover the joy of creating with your hands in this online embroidery workshop, where you’ll learn to stitch a beautiful illustration!
During the workshop, your instructor Lisa will teach you all the basics about embroidery, including threading a needle, separating the floss (thread), choosing a design you love and working on different techniques to keep things fun and interesting. You will be guided step-by-step through the process of creating one or more of the featured patterns – Embroidery Hoops (pictures attached to this page), which can be customized to any colors you prefer.
What you can expect from Lisa as an instructor: Fun, patience, attention to detail and thorough explanations. Lisa truly believes that anyone can do anything they set their minds to. Lisa teaches from the heart, from experience and from a place where she absolutely loves to foster happiness and creativity.
Who is it for: This workshop is designed for beginners and is suitable for individuals of all ages who are eager to learn a new skill and enjoy stitching. No prior experience is required—all you need is your willingness to learn and have fun!
Live on Zoom: Workshops are hosted on Zoom. Participants are encouraged to turn on their webcam/video to take part in the class. This is to allow the instructor to check on the progress of participants and offer personalized guidance & support where needed.

About the artist: For Lisa Van Wert, art has been right by her side throughout her whole life. Whether that be drawing and sketching or the art of language and music and everything in between. While experimenting with various hobbies, none truly resonated until Lisa discovered the world of embroidery. Sharing her profound enthusiasm for embroidery through teaching is a deep-rooted passion for Lisa. Lisa teaches from the heart, from experience and from a place where she absolutely loves to foster happiness and creativity.
