Join artist Silvia at The Greenwood Studio Hub in downtown Calgary for an inspiring, hands-on experience where creativity meets the cosmos! This workshop celebrates Virgo, but the cosmos is yours to explore! Choose your zodiac sign from all 12, then bring it to life in a stunning mixed-media creation.
You’ll be guided step by step by the experienced instructor Silvia as you cast your own mold, layer in stencils and chipboard, and build a mesmerizing composition with paints, waxes, and delicate florals. Let the stars guide your creativity, and leave with a celestial work of art that’s uniquely yours!
Who is this for?
This workshop is designed for adults and teens (ages 12+) of all skill levels. It’s the perfect experience for writers, journalists, and mixed media artists looking to infuse their daily tools or creative keepsakes with a touch of celestial magic. You’ll have fun learning resin techniques while exploring unique ways to express your star sign or cosmic inspiration!

About the artist: Silvia Pinto, an accomplished instructor and accredited visual artist based in Calgary, has a deep-rooted passion for creativity and a commitment to empowering others. Silvia’s journey in the arts has led her to become a dedicated teacher. Her love for crafting sparked her passion for teaching, inspiring her to master various craft media including paper quilling, cardmaking, art journaling, mixed media, and more. With over a decade of experience as a program facilitator, Silvia has honed her skills in guiding individuals of all ages to embrace their creativity and unlock their artistic potential.
