About the artist: Dee Murray is an artist and maker with a lifelong passion for creating. In 2022, she discovered pysanky, the traditional Ukrainian art of egg decorating, and found herself deeply connected to the craft. Of Ukrainian heritage but raised in a German-Irish household, Dee embraced the tradition after meeting her biological family and learning they made eggs every Easter. After a COVID-related setback, she began making an egg a day and hasn’t stopped since. Dee shares her passion for pysanky through workshops and demonstrations, honoring and helping to sustain this beautiful tradition.
Dee’s pysanky experience is scheduled monthly. To find alternative dates, browse [here].
