Winter Art Camp For Kids
Let Your Child’s Creativity Soar During This Winter Holiday. Welcome to the Camp!
Age Group: 5 to 13 years old
Ignite your child’s creativity at the Palak StudioInk Winter Art Camp! Your young artist will explore a wide range of exciting mediums, including canvas painting, drawing, sketching, and various crafts. We believe that learning alongside peers sparks creativity, builds confidence, and fosters teamwork. Our studio environment is filled with joy, laughter, and the enthusiasm of young artists.
What Makes This Camp Special?
Our experienced instructors provide personalized attention within a collaborative group setting. We guide your child through hands-on techniques, demonstrating everything from foundational brushstrokes and color palette selection to more advanced art methods. The focus is always on making the process both fun and educational.
On the final day of your child’s session, we celebrate their creative journey with our Winter Art Camp Graduation Ceremony! Highlights include:
- Complimentary snacks provided by the studio
- One complimentary face-painting
Dates & Flexible Duration
The studio offers flexible registration for the holiday camp on the following dates:
- 2-Day Session: December 22nd & 23rd (register on a different page here)
- 3-Day Session: December 29th – 31st (register on this page)
Choose between a Half-Day (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM) or Full-Day (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM) option. Drop-in registration is available on all dates.
Important Details
- Materials: All art materials are included in the price.
- Attire: Aprons will be provided, but we strongly encourage children to wear clothes they do not mind getting paint on!
- What to Bring: Please pack a lunch, snacks, and a water bottle for your child. (Full-day campers will have a dedicated half-hour lunch break.)
About the instructor: Palak Dhorajiya is a self-taught artist who reignited her passion for creativity during the pandemic. Originally from India, she balanced art with her studies. After moving to Calgary for a career in Interior Design, she temporarily set aside her artistic pursuits. However, discovering alcohol inks during the pandemic reignited her love for creating. Inspired by her mother and art tutor, she began crafting original pieces and teaching others. Palak offers custom artwork and art classes, providing a creative space to transform ideas into beautiful art.
