With Mother’s Day approaching, we invite families to join us for a cozy evening of tea, wool, and community as we gather to honour all mothers — those with us and those we carry in our hearts. Together, we’ll slow down and create with intention, shaping soft, meaningful pieces through the art of felting. You’ll be guided in making beautiful wool dryer balls or felted creations — perfect as a heartfelt gift, or something special to keep for yourself.

This workshop is a beautiful choice for anyone who wants to slow down and make something meaningful — whether you’re coming to create a gift for the mother in your life, to honour a memory, or simply to treat yourself to an evening of handmade making. All ages are welcome (recommended 6 and up), and no prior experience is needed.

About the artist: Cheyenne Jackson is the artist and founder of Clay Nest Art Studio, where creativity, connection, and beautiful handmade experiences come together. Specializing in pottery, hand-building, and nature-inspired mixed media, she offers thoughtfully guided workshops designed to help participants unwind, explore new skills, and leave with meaningful pieces they’re proud of. Her cozy, welcoming teaching style makes every class feel inspiring and approachable — giving people the confidence to explore, create, and enjoy the beauty of working with their hands.
