Fragments & Flow: Geometric Mandala Art

An exploration of colour, shape, balance and creative expression.
Level: beginner
Ages: 12 and up
Discover the beauty of geometric art in Fragments & Flow, a relaxing, hands-on therapeutic arts workshop designed to help you unwind, explore, and reconnect through creativity.
Over two hours, Therapeutic Arts Practitioner Silvia will guide you through a series of creative prompts as you design your own dimensional mandala artwork.
Using colourful patterned papers, circular shapes, and creative layering techniques, you’ll create a unique mandala on a 5 × 7-inch canvas board. Explore colour combinations, repeating patterns, and composition while embracing mindfulness, self-expression, and creative freedom.

Ideal for teens (12+) and adults, whether you’re completely new to art or simply looking for a calming creative outlet. This workshop isn’t about perfection or technical skill. It’s about the process: engaging your senses and letting creativity flow naturally in a supportive, judgment-free space.
Location & Experience
Hosted at the welcoming Greenwood Hub in downtown Calgary, this workshop offers an intimate small-group setting for artistic exploration.
