Nature has been making art long before we thought to join in. In this hands-on, exploratory workshop, you’ll tap into the surprising creative potential of leaves, flowers, and plant matter — and discover just how bold and beautiful natural materials can be on fabric.
Using eco dyeing techniques and handmade printmaking stamps, you’ll experiment with colour, pattern, and texture to create textiles that are entirely your own. There are no wrong results here — just happy surprises and the quiet delight of watching nature do something unexpected. The session balances guided instruction with plenty of open-ended exploration, so whether you like to follow the process or go off-script, you’ll find your rhythm here.

About the artist: Cheyenne Jackson is the artist and founder of Clay Nest Art Studio, where creativity, connection, and beautiful handmade experiences come together. Specializing in pottery, hand-building, and nature-inspired mixed media, she offers thoughtfully guided workshops designed to help participants unwind, explore new skills, and leave with meaningful pieces they’re proud of.
